This cover art was the latest in a series of books from Monica Nolan. The series writing style and tone are reminiscent of the old lesbian pulp books from the late fifties and early sixties with a tongue planted firmly in cheek. So we try and capture that feeling of fun and a bit of implied naughtiness on the covers. This particular book focuses on Dolly Dingle, a lesbian landlady for an all women’s building.
