Laura Barrett
laurabarrett.co.uk/Laura Barrett is an illustrator based in London, specialising in intricate and decorative silhouette illustrations and monochrome patterns. Since graduating from University of the Arts London in 2008, Laura has been working with a variety of clients including The BBC, The Guardian, Hachette, Penguin Random House, Scholastic, Science Museum, Silent Pool Gin, Taschen, Ted Baker and Time Inc. With an emphasis on storytelling and an attention to detail, Laura’s illustrations are inspired by the darker side of folk & fairy tales, along with traditional Scherenschnitte (paper cutting).
