A cover illustration for Sophocles’ play Oedipus Rex. I took the symbols commonly associated with Oedipus (the bleeding eyes and crown) and overlapped them, hoping to give new insight on the intersection of Oedipus’ arrogance and blindness and his misuse of his power.
