For an exhibition on the life of Empress Elizabeth of Austria. This piece deals with the later part of her life, as she retreats from the public eye grieving the death of her son, and as her own untimely death at the hands of an assassin approaches. She is shown here in the imperial greenhouse at Schönbrunn.
