The dual strategies of isolation and social distancing to ensure collective public health has resulted in greater risk of mental health issues. Drawing became not only an important tool for maintaining my mental health, but has also allowed me to give voice to the originally positive and uniting social media messaging at the beginning of lockdown that became divisive and toxic at its end.
