Illustration West is an annual competition and exhibition highlighting the year’s best illustration – both from L.A. and from all around the world. SILA is proud to represent established and emerging artists and demonstrate that this continues to be an exciting era for illustration.

was Chaired by our 2021 Board of Directors

Joe Cepeda, 2021 President, Jake Reeves, 2021 2nd VP/Programs & Web Chair,
Scott Gandell, 2021 VP Development, Jon Messer, 2021 Secretary & Treasurer, and
Santosh Oommen, 2021 Membership Chair

We received over 1,400 entries from 542 artists this year giving our judging panel much to consider. It was not a simple task for them to narrow things down, but they have spoken – 284 terrific pieces of art representing 180 artists are ready to be known as Illustration West 60.
